The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned it as a mausoleum for his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Construction began in 1632 and was completed in approximately 1648. The Taj Mahal is first in the new 7 wonders list.We are very proud as Indian that Taj Mahal is still the world's favourite.This LOVE monument situated in Agra is the most astonishing part of India. The world has voted for Taj Mahal which is most exciting because there were other wonders but the true one has been again recognised.
Its great to see Indians and Indian places being popular on world level....
